Being amidst the lush forest of Waterfall Lodge is already a stunning experience, but providing Hair and Airbrushed Makeup for Emily’s wedding day made it all the more special. Her beauty was undeniable against the backdrop of this serene, life-giving space where she said “I do.” The love between her and her new husband was powerful and felt in such an intimate atmosphere, which honored the nature of their connection—vivid, golden, timeless.

Our team’s approach to her bridal look was also inspired by the alluring energy of the redwoods, the sunlight spilling through. Magali tied in elements of the woodland floor with warm earth tones; a rust shadow and natural lip. The bride’s face was glowing, her lashes mirroring the fullness of the ferns. From the soft flush of her cheeks to bold brows, Emily’s makeup was flawless and paired beautifully with loose, romantic waves swept back into a crystal headpiece that Ashley had the pleasure of styling at one of the onsite guest cabins.

As a wedding photographer herself, our bride enjoyed using friends as vendors. Samantha, owner of Veil of Grace, did Emily’s hair way back when for her 6th grade graduation! Years later, we’re so thankful to be a part of the love here, at the beginning of this forever.
