“CULTIVATE is a dream Dawn and I have had individually for years but partnered up to make it a reality. Community will always be our heart and that is the pulse behind @cultivateworkshop. So many months of preparation, so many boxes of donations and last-minute target runs, so many helping hands all for 4 days that truly leave us changed. We are so honored to teach women in this creative community but, what they probably don’t know, is that they teach us even more. Someone asked me what my favorite part of the workshop is and without hesitation I responded with: ‘It’s the fact that I leave more inspired than when I came in because of the genuine hearts, vulnerability, and extreme talent that surrounds and radiates out of everything CULTIVATE is.’ To us, it’s more than just a workshop!”
With handmade lace decor, wood accents, and exposed red brick throughout, Haley and Jeremy’s downtown LA wedding at Seventh Place was everything we love about rustic industrial weddings and so much more! The couple’s indoor ceremony and reception were filled to the brim with natural greenery and free-form florals created by White Fig Designs, which added so much dimension to the overall vibe. The couple’s vision came to life with chic details, mismatched and minimal table decor, and natural elements that complemented but didn’t distract from the chic architecture of the venue. All in all, this LA wedding had modern elegance and rustic charm in spades, and Katie Ruther Photography captured every moment brilliantly!
For those that love all shades of purple, did you know that ultra violet is Pantone’s color of the year (we actually created this DIY ultra violet veil in honor of the hue!)? Katie has always loved purple, even before it cycled in as Pantone’s fave of 2018, so she and planner, Aly of Luna Wild Design, thought it’d be fun to incorporate tons of lavender, along with moody bohemian details, like mud cloth. When you grow up in a place as spectacular as San Diego, you don’t have to look far for a wedding venue… In fact, Katie + Dylan said their vows in the backyard of her parent’s house!
Though they grew up only a few blocks from one another, it wasn’t until much later that the couple met online and became inseperable after only their second date. Xochitl and David wanted a “traditional, classic, and timeless wedding that wasn’t stuffy or boring.” With the help of HONEYFITZ EVENTS, the couple had just that on the grounds of the stunning THE ATHENAEUM. Classic details like calligraphy invitations, a stunning veiled bride in INES DI SANTO, a traditional formal reception with deep pink peonies in the centerpieces by Lark Farnum and a beautiful tiered cake by CRUST & CRUMBLE shine in a day filled with love and smiles. It’s all captured by in these beautiful images by BROOKE BOROUGH.
Inspired by Barragán’s designs, Aly of Luna Wild Design headed down to one of the newest hotels + venues in Tijuana: One Bunk. Playing off the idea of “a day in the life” in TJ, Aly designed a modern day elopement in Mexico. She shares We did a lot of DIY projects for this — including spray painting tiles matte pink to mimic houses designed by Luis Barragán. The couple, photographed by Gantes.co, is a real couple and they’re getting married this year (so it was easy to capture their playful love). The hotel is such a dream — perfect for future weddings + elopements, and I couldn’t imagine a better place to honor Barragán’s designs than his home of Mexico.
For Danielle & Marcus it was having an intimate family feel to their day, modern and timeless style and LOTS of greenery that were the important factors when it came to planning their wedding. Their wedding planner Megan from FESTIVE EVENT PLANNING tells us, “The 100 person capacity ceremony venue of WAYFARER’S CHAPEL as well as the groom’s parents backyard which served as the reception space, both catered to a smaller, intimate feel – which was further highlighted through the family-style dinner service…”
Thanks to BROOKE BOROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY for these beautiful images of their day.
Love was in the air at this dreamy boho chic wedding that took place at a private estate in Santa Clarita, California. Michelle and Matt’s dreamy day was filled with so many swoon-worthy details, but we’re especially smitten over the brides jaw-dropping Anna Campbell dress!
Believe us, you won’t want to miss this gorgeous day captured by Ashley Burns Photography. Be sure to visit the full gallery here for an up close look at the entire day and be sure to save (and pin!) your favorite ideas for later.

We love featuring our Southern California Bride members so when Meghan Christine Photography sent us this gorgeous wedding, we just couldn’t wait to feature it. This gorgeous elegant and classic wedding took place at the famed Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara — a stunning resort situated on the Santa Barbara coastline. The bride looked stunning in her Kirstie Kelly ruffled gown and the bridesmaids donned a classic look in black gowns. But wait until you see the reception — just breathtaking!
Wait until the official first day of winter to start sharing winter wedding inspiration? Never! And with this styled shoot being as pretty as it is, you’d hate us if we held it from you. Plus, it’s coming to us from a relatively new group of wedding vendors supporting a good cause, which makes us that much more excited to share. The inspiration was created around an amazing event venue and non-profit organization called Shadowland. They are a first year wedding venue who’s entire wedding proceeds go to caring for the wolves, public outreach and conservation….its also a tax deduction for couples using the venue, as it is a non profit. Why don’t more of these venues exist!?
A hidden little gem of a town always makes for the most amazing e-sessions… especially when that hidden little gem of a town boasts breathtaking citrus and avocado groves, antique trains and a Main Street straight from one seriously heartwarming movie. And when you add in an adorable duo like these two cuties (seriously) and the talented LMarie Photography to snap up all of the pretty, it’s the perfect way to jump start your Friday. See it all in the full gallery.
Jessica and Sean met in April of 2009 after Sean, who is in law enforcement, responded to a call where Jessica was. And, while no one was hurt or arrested, Jessica stole Sean’s heart for good.
Jessica and Sean celebrated one of their favorite moments as they walked down the aisle scattered with pale petals as husband and wife.
